Trans Slovenija – Mountain Edition – GPS route

Start: Logarska dolina, Dom planincev, 05.08.2010 at 07:00 AM

Finish: Koper, 08.08.2010 until 11:00 PM

Necessary equipment: mobile phone and GPS tracker (provided by organiser)

Stage 1: Logarska dolina – Poljče (78,5 km) – 15 hour limit – GPS route

Stage 2: Poljče – Bovec (80,5 km) – 15 hour limit - GPS route

Stage 3: Bovec – Nova Gorica (82 km) – 15 hour limit - GPS route

Stage 4: Nova Gorica – Koper (90 km) – 17 hour limit - GPS route

Start is every day at 6:00 AM, except for the first they when the race starts at 07:00 AM.

The organiser provides at least two stations on every stage and additional uncontrolled water stations.

Stage course is visible from maps and GPS data. There will be directional arrows on every crossroad. Only permitted means of progress are walking and running. The organiser will make unannounced checks on all entrants during the marathon and all runners breaking the rules will be disqualified.

Prizes: All participants receive T-shirt and a practical prize, marathon finishers also receive certificate and a Finisher T-shirt at the finish line.

Categories: only one category (male and female).

Entrance fees: Applications are possible before 20.07.2010. Entrance fee is 300 EUR or 200 EUR if the entrant is organizing their own overnight sleeping and transportation to the start and from the finish line. Additional fee for runners companion (max 1) is 100 EUR.

Fee refund because of injury or any other reason:

• cancellation before 20.06.2010 – 90% refund
• cancellation before 15.07.2010 – 50% refund
• cancellation after 16.07.2010 – no refund

Entrance fee contains:

• pasta party and accommodation at Dom planincev in Logarska dolini on 04.08.
• dinner and accommodation on the finish of every stage except for the last stage
• transport on 04.08. at Kranj (13:00), Ljubljana (14:00) and Logarska dolina (15:30)
• transport of equipment from start to control stations and to the finish of every stage
• transport on 08.08. after the end and on 09.08. to Ljubljana and Kranj (airport)
